Dear Readers,

Global challenges such as the growing demand for mobility, climate change, the shortage of skilled labour, and the need for a stable and resilient infrastructure also affect our industry. We all share responsibility for providing answers and solutions to these challenges.

In that sense, our focus lies on innovation and the latest developments. We make use of digital networks and state-of-the-art technologies with the clear aim of enabling assisted and autonomous work in track maintenance.

Our innovative machines such as the Unimat 09-8x4/4S BR-Dynamic E³, presented at iaf 2022, demonstrate their effectiveness on worksites every day. Applications that were considered utopian yesterday are now part of everyday life.

We are celebrating the 200th anniversary of the railway in 2025! The global upswing in the railway sector is a cause for optimism. Together we can make a contribution to the most environmentally friendly transport system. At iaf 2025, we will be presenting a wide range of products and services in line with the motto "We believe in railways". They make track maintenance more efficient – for highly available tracks and greater capacity on the world's rails.

Yours sincerely,
Johannes Max-Theurer
CEO Plasser & Theurer
