Effective immediately, Deutsche Plasser and ROBEL Business Unit Service & Customer Service form a single entity. The largest service organisation within the Plasser & Theurer group of companies was created on 1 January 2022: Plasser Robel Services GmbH (PRS). From its sites in Munich, Opladen and Freilassing, PRS provides complete service for the entire life cycle of rail-bound vehicles and machines made by Plasser & Theurer and ROBEL. This makes PRS a customer partner and key point of contact for all services offered by both brands.

1.8 MILLION TAMPING INSERTIONS, no significant signs of wear

Swietelsky Construction Company is operating tamping machines with a universal 4x4 tamping unit for tracks and turnouts in the UK. The first Unimat 09-4x4/4S Dynamic has been in use since 2015. It has performed more than 1.8 million tamping insertions before the tamping unit was first refurbished.
