Dear Readers,

We are shaping the future of track maintenance with you: our 70 years of experience have been characterised by successes and technological milestones alike.

Our industry is changing very quickly these days. We are confronted with increasing complexity in many aspects of the business. At the same time, we have the historic opportunity to do our part in the service of the railway system and tackle major challenges such as mobility requirements, the demand for skilled labour, and climate change.

To that end, we are using technologies together and continuing to develop them: digitalisation, artificial intelligence, deep learning, and much more.

With ModularCustomizing, we provide new and innovative machine designs that draw on our international experience with 17,000 machines in 110 countries. Our aim is to shorten delivery times, increase efficiency, and to offer you support in operating your machines throughout their entire life cycle – which is usually more than 30 years.

We will be presenting our latest products and services at iaf, introducing you to the sustainable future of railway infrastructure and showing you what modern, safe track maintenance looks like.

I am looking forward to keeping these products and developments “on track” together with you to benefit the railway system.

Yours sincerely,
Johannes Max-TheurerCEO, Plasser & Theurer
